By creating an account or using the ReelOnes mobile application ("App"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.
ReelOnes is a free movie and TV show discovery app that lets you:
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account and use the App. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the App.
An account is required to use the App. When creating an account you must provide a valid email address and password. You may optionally provide your name, phone number, and date of birth. At signup, we automatically record your IP address, approximate location (country and city), and device information for security and service administration purposes, as described in our Privacy Policy.

You may only create one account per person. We reserve the right to remove accounts that appear to be duplicates.

The App allows you to connect with other users as friends and share playlists of movies and TV shows. When you use these features:
You are responsible for your interactions with other users.
Movie and TV show data, including titles, descriptions, posters, and cast information, is provided by TMDB (The Movie Database) under their API terms of use. This content belongs to TMDB and its licensors.
The App's design, branding, and code are our intellectual property and may not be copied, modified, or distributed without permission.
Your personal data (swipe history, watchlists, playlists) belongs to you. You grant us a limited licence to store and process this data solely to provide the App's features to you. This licence ends when you delete your account.
The App includes an optional "Adult Content" filter (Filters > Adult Content). By default, adult content is blocked.
If you choose to unblock adult content, you confirm that:
ReelOnes surfaces metadata (titles, posters, descriptions) provided by TMDB. We do not host, stream, or distribute the underlying content itself. Titles flagged as adult by TMDB may be inappropriate for some viewers. We are not responsible for any content surfaced as a result of you unblocking this filter.
You may re-block adult content at any time from the Filters screen. Re-blocking takes effect immediately for new content fetched after the change.
Our collection and use of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. By using the App, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the Privacy Policy.
You may delete your account at any time from the App's settings. When you delete your account, we permanently delete all your data including your profile, swipe history, watchlists, friend connections, playlists, and matches. This action is irreversible.
If we receive a report indicating that your account or content may be in breach of these Terms, we will normally follow a fair, graduated process before suspending or terminating your account:
We aim to review every situation individually and welcome your perspective via the in-app reply mechanism within each notice.
Reports you submit and your right to appeal. When you report another user via the in-app report flow, we will review your report and notify you of the outcome (whether action was taken or the report was dismissed) inside the App. If you disagree with our decision, you may appeal by emailing support@reelones.co.uk within 6 months of receiving the outcome notification. Reference your report ID and explain why you disagree. EU users may also pursue out-of-court dispute settlement under the Digital Services Act, or seek judicial redress in their local courts.
The App relies on third-party services to function:

ReelOnes is provided free of charge. We do our best to keep the App available and working, but we cannot guarantee:
We may update, modify, or discontinue features of the App at any time.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that movie or TV show data provided by TMDB is accurate, complete, or up to date.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data or interruption of service.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under the laws of England and Wales.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
